Typography At Its Finest

Artist Ji Lee created a series of graphical type pieces and an animated video titled “Word as image”. Conceptual realizations of common words, popular people, places, objects, actions and ideas like “exit”, “Spiderman”, and “parellel”. Some graphical associations I found immediately visible. Others were more subtle, a visual puzzle if you will, but each piece is brilliantly and pointedly designed. The use of negative space in the execution is commendable.

Look close. These simple symbols are more than meets the eye.

I am really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a nice blog like this one these days..
